Volunteering and Contact ACT Shopfront

The Volunteering and Contact ACT (VCA) Shopfront is Canberra’s community information office. We provide accessible, comprehensive and up to date information and referral services to individuals, organisations and Government. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff and volunteers help people find the services and programs they need.

Whether you are a student, pensioner, public servant, raising a family, living with a disability of from a culturally or linguistically diverse background, we put you in touch with the services you are looking for.

If you are new to Canberra, we can help you find your way around.

If you are visiting Canberra, we can offer ideas on what to do and see and how to get there.

Do you want to find a support or interest group? Speak to the right people about housing, aged care or child care? Find out how to get a bus pass? Are you a community services worker, needing specific information to help assist a client? We can link you to the right services.
