2019 Volunteer Manager of the Year Award

In recognition of the dedication and commitment of volunteer managers in the Canberra Region, Volunteering and Contact ACT are delighted to announce the inaugural Volunteer Manager of the Year Award, Canberra Region.

The award aims to recognise and celebrate the tireless efforts of volunteer managers who support and facilitate the engagement of volunteers across the Canberra Region. Volunteer managers are the unsung heroes of programs around Canberra, yet they contribute such an important part of creating and fostering volunteering opportunities within our community. Let’s show our volunteer managers our appreciation and recognise them front and centre on International Volunteer Manager’s Day. Whether they are new to volunteer management or an experienced volunteer manager, this is an opportunity to recognise their contribution.

The winner will be announced at an event on 5 November for International Volunteer Managers Day. Along with announcing the winner, volunteer managers across the Region will come together to recognise and celebrate the contribution of the profession in supporting volunteering effort in Canberra.
